Hi. It’s Camryn posting, by the way. If you don’t know, Katherine posted again. It may be short, but it’s great that she posted again.
So I was making dinner because I wanted to. It involved chopping green onions. I LOVE to chop green onions (I have no idea why) but they make me cry like onions do to everyone. And today they were really strong onions. Four of them. I was down to the fine chopping and it got so bad I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I had to run away and grab a Kleenex and blot my eyes and stay there for a bit before I could go back. And I had to do that twice. The second time I used toilet paper (CLEAN) because we were out of Kleenex.
Also, for no apparent reason my right ankle, on the inside, has swelled to the size of a golf ball. It hurts. Maybe I play too much Cultural Hall Soccer with the unofficial random Cultural Hall Friday-Wednesday Night Soccer League. (CHFWNSL)
In other news, I am starting to learn how to play the first approximately 12 measures of Don’t Stop Believin’. As I have learned, it does not come from Wicked. And the only thing I know about Wicked is that it is a book and a musical. And anyway, we were listening to Don’t Stop Believin’ last night (Friday) and I heard the piano part and thought it was so cool. And in Allie’s band, where they are playing it, Jenna Swartz is playing the piano part. Lucky. So I went on MusicNotes (a very nice website) and printed the first page, free. It was so cool because you can transpose it online so I got it in C major and G major as well as the original, which I think is E major but I don’t remember. Anyway I am getting pretty good and got part of the verse by ear. It wasn’t hard.
And I think I have exhausted all topics.
No. I haven’t. I HAVE to tell you about Lunch B on Friday.
It was fun. Our school has 3 lunches, one for each grade (although you don’t always eat your grade’s default lunch) and 6th graders get Lunch C. So during Lunch B we’d come back from Mrs. Crews’s room and were back in Mrs. Komlos’s (not Mrs. Komlous’s, Kennedy who doesn’t know me) room. Amelia volunteered to put up some signs and persuaded Julia and me to help. It was SO fun. We went all around school. Mrs. Komlos told us to put one ‘by the tree in the front hall’ but when we got there there was no tree. She might have meant the painted one, though. So we asked Mr. Mecouch. I was feeling really hyper and outgoing so I went up to him, pointed to the painted tree, and in my giggly hyperness voice asked if it was a tree. He said yes. I pointed to some plants that Julia thought had meant the tree and asked if it was a tree. He said no but suggested we try hanging the sign above the water fountains next to the bathroom. We did. And then we were fighting and giggling over who would hold the tape and who would put up the signs. We took turns and debated the locations. And then IT happened. We were putting up a sign. I had started this thing about being graceful. If you don’t know, I am really short, so it was sort of hard for me to reach the places. Actually we were all short. So I was trying to be graceful and hang the sign properly in one attempt when I heard a teacher coming. So I quickly told my friends to act calm and dignified. I put on my ‘calm and dignified’ face. It’s the first picture.

It’s a lot funnier when my hair’s dry and I’m in regular clothes and I’ve been hyper and giggly in the last ten seconds and I’m looking you in the face. It also looks different. Anyway it cracked my friends up so every so often down the halls I would put on my calm and dignified face and dissolve into giggles within about two seconds.
When we got back to Mrs. Komlos’s room we volunteered (giggling) to deliver the boxes. Amelia gave hers to Mr. West. Then it was my turn. Mine went to Mr. Berg, a rather stern teacher who does joke a bit. They were having SSR I think and he was scolding Brett who was reading some really low point book. The conversation between Mr. Berg and me went something like this.
Mr. Berg: Yes?
Me: (giggling) Um, I have to give this to you.
Mr. Berg: (stares at me)
Me: (still giggling) Um, it’s a box. From Mrs. Komlos. For you.
Me: (very embarrassed)
Mr. Berg: (takes box) Thank you for that fascinating explanation
Me: (giggling, embarrassed, and walking out) Um, okay.
Very embarrassing and yet very funny.
And then Julia delivered her box to the office while I tried my hardest to act calm and dignified. I was hyper and giggling helplessly by then, though. And we were halfway down the hall and the lunch bell rang so we half ran to Mrs. Komlos’s room, grabbed our stuff, and hurried to the cafeteria.
All in all, it was a very fun Lunch B. And I entertained my friends all through lunch by attempting to be calm and dignified while staring Julia in the face. She’s the only one who can make me giggle when I’m doing it. Thanks for a great Friday!
Okay now I am getting off.
Bye.

Hi
I do not know what to post
But at least I have posted recently. Katherine has not posted since August 2009. And I want to go to California like right NOW!
And I still do not know what to post because nothing has happened. I mean, Caleb is funny, and I made a headband out of duct tape again, but really, there isn’t anything new.
So I don’t know, what should I post?
Any ideas?
Any at all?
Any?
Well Allie is taking art class
And I really want to make a movie
And I am going to play a game with Caleb now so anyway I will get off.
the end
hey

It’s hard to tell, but that’s like two different headbands. It’s not two, strictly speaking, but it’s reversible; the background is purple with pink and tan strips on one side and tan with pink and purple strips on the other. I have also made an extra pocket for my scripture case for my pencils and the candy I get. I’ve even covered my math binder. It’s quite pretty now.
Also, I have some ideas. I want to make mittens and a hat out of duct tape, or one of the two. And I want to make a wallet. Any other ideas? I should tell you, the pink is actually quite neon but for some reason it shows up almost peach here.
Anyway that is all I have to post plus this is annoying because the cursor thing has disappeared so I can’t see where I am typing so anyway bye.

So I went to Wal-Mart today and with my gift card and eight dollars extra I got 5 rolls of duct tape, in pink, purple, turquoise, tan, and white. They were all 20 yards except the pink, which was 15 yards, but I don’t care. So already I’ve made a headband just like the other one but in pink and white. I’ve also made a pair of around-the-house slippers, made of notebook covers folded in half and covered in duct tape. They have flowers at the toe and work better than my other slippers which are at least 2 sizes too big and have been for a year.
So now I can’t think of anything to make with it, although I’m sure I’ll come up with like five thousand ideas in the dead of night and when I’m running out, which won’t be for a while… and hopefully not until I’ve memorized the Constitution and gotten $100.
Please tell me in the comments if you have any ideas as to what I should make.
Okay, that’s all I have to post.
Go California!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In order from top to bottom, these photos are a duct tape glass case, with a lens cloth and lens wipe poking out; a duct tape gift card cozy, with a gift card in it; a duct tape gym bag, which I used for gymnastics; and a knitted slipper, that has no existing mate. I figured out all on my own how to post pictures, and it is FUN! Also the bottom picture is a warped picture of Allie and Caleb. It’s hilarious!

I think it’s hilarious. So anyway, life recently…
Nothing! Nothing new at all. We’re watching family videos right now.
GO DUCT TAPE!!!
I LOVE CALIFORNIA!!!!!

Well, it has. And not too much has happened since December 24. I mean, there was Christmas. Also, Lisa and Joshua and Tanner came down on the 29th of December for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. We had a lot of fun. We went bowling, which was so fun that Caleb’s New Year goal was to go bowling again; we went to McDonald’s, where we played Boggle (rather Allie, Lisa, and I did) and ordered whatever we wanted; and we just had fun playing games (particularly Word on the Street) and being together.
Also, I got my first movie out on DVD. It was partially about Egypt and therefore partially educational. I made it with my friend Mary at a sleepover. It took four hours to make and ended up almost an hour long. The parts in America and the end credits were definitely the best.
Mom is very happy with me because I can clean my room, complete with vacuuming and dusting, in just twenty minutes- even if it appears as though and earthquake just happened. Also, I cleaned and organized and color-coded my clothes drawers yesterday. I also cleaned and organized my nightstand top, nightstand shelf, and nightstand drawer. I even cleaned and organized my big under-the-bed box. I took about twenty-five minutes to do the drawers and all that.
And today we have no school! Yay! School was canceled because of snow and ice. We already played two or three rounds of Bananagrams.
We were overjoyed when school was canceled because at first this morning it was only a two-hour delay.
Also I know Dad wants to learn my progress about memorizing the Constitution. For him and for anyone else who wants to, go here:

And Allie’s blog is:

They might be confusing if you’re not immediate family.
Well, that’s pretty much it for the past 31 days.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Wow. It’s 5:30pm (EST) on Christmas Eve. Already. But it still took forever. Christmas Eve is the longest day of the year. The hardest, longest night segment to get through is the hours from 9pm until 8am. Dad says he won’t let us open presents and have him awake until noon, but we know (and I think he does) that at 8am we’re marching into Mom and Dad’s room and waking them up. Then we can start that long process of getting downstairs. Seriously, it takes FOREVER to even get downstairs. First, we have to talk loud enough in the parent’s room and jump on their bed long enough for them to wake up. That usually doesn’t take long. Then, we struggle through like 20 verses of scriptures on the Christmas story. When that’s over, we generally grab garbage bags and scissors, Rachel gets her doll, and we all line up, one behind the other, in front of the stairs. We organize so we’re lined up youngest to oldest, youngest in front. Due to me, that may not be shortest to tallest next year. (I’m not insulting myself, but that comment right there tells you it’s Camryn posting.) Then, Dad walks very incredibly slowly downstairs, and comes back up s-l-o-w-l-y and tries for a while to convince us that Santa didn’t come. I don’t know what he’ll use as proof this year, because last year he took pictures of the mantel where our EMPTY stockings hang and tried to use that. Unfortunately, the two oldest children (Allie and me) knew that Santa ALWAYS puts our stockings on the ground after he fills them to make it easier for us. SO, that plan was foiled. This year, I made a little checklist (on butcher paper!) that Santa has to sign. I’ll make Dad bring it up, because Santa doesn’t sign it unless he checks everything off, which he will , so then the KIDS will have proof that Santa came. Then, finally, with Dad leading the way, we walk S-L-O-W-L-Y down the stairs and settle in front of our stockings. We each take a box of cereal, and then the real Christmas Present Ceremony begins. By that time, it’ll be like 8:30 in the morning. I’m trying to make myself as tired as possible today before 9pm so when I settle at at 9 or 9:30 I’ll be so tired that after I force myself to read HP2* (for about the twentieth time, literally-no exaggeration!) until 10 I’ll be so tired that I’ll go right to sleep and, hopefully, not wake up till 8. (If you don’t know me that well, me sleeping in till 8 would really be amazing. I get up pretty early, like at 6, and it’s hard for me to sleep till 8. I don’t do it often and normally, even Christmas morning and vacations and weekends, I’m up by at latest 7:30.) Well, it’s now 5:45. If anyone actually bothers to read this, PLEASE put in a comment some way for me to pass time and tire myself out. Don’t expect any posts tomorrow until past noon if at all, because not only is it Christmas morning, but we’re usually not done downstairs until about noon, eleven at very earliest.
Okay, I’m done. I need to get off now and run around a lot.
Goodbye, I hope you survive tonight without exploding!!!! (Don’t hold your breath for me.)
-Camryn
*HP2 is actually Harry Potter 2. We had to abbreviate it because I don’t exactly know why, I guess it was too long.

I almost set the house on fire yesterday. Or came dangerously close anyway.
I left my slipper under the heater. It is now ruined. When I know how to post pictures, i will show anyone who actually reads this.
I think I am actually done now. Bye.
Allie 🙂
